Cheap Summer Parking Near the City Centre
Driving to OEMC 2026? Uppsala has a summer parking campaign that makes it cheaper and easier to park near the city centre. You can pay just 1 kr per hour for your first three hours, all through the championship.
If you are driving to Uppsala for OEMC 2026, there is a summer parking campaign that makes it easy and affordable to park within walking distance of the city centre while you are here.
Between 22 June and 2 August, you can park for just 1 kr per hour for your first three hours (during the day) at four car parks close to the centre. Together they have around 400 spaces:
- Norra hovstallängen
- Katedralskolan
- Salaplan
- Fyrisgatan
The campaign is run by Uppsala parkering together with Uppsala Citysamverkan. The aim is to make it simpler to visit the city in summer and to show visitors the parking options just outside the innermost centre.
It is also a good chance to explore between rounds. These car parks sit close to the cafés, restaurants and sights of the city centre, so you can leave the car and walk in.
